Actually it was Michael Behar and Sol Azose who wrote the Sephardic Adventure Camp song. Expletive Deleted is correct, it was written in a rush as the newly unified camp was beginning the following day. It was written in front of the sinks in the Camp Bishop Boy's Bathroom. Michael and Solomon had writer's block and time was running out when inspiration hit. And the rest is history.
Hey Old-School! What about Wevo's the word, is the word have you heard we've got yolk we've got eggshell. (Sung to the tune of Grease)
Sorry Expletive, "Someone who should know" is correct, it was me and Sol Azose (Not Simon).
And it was written sort of to make fun of the newly added "Adventure" to Sephardic Camp's name. At the time no one really knew what a Sephardic Adventure was (We know better now).
Oh it's me alright, the real question is are you who you say you are. I strongly suspect that Expletive-Deleted is NOT even your real name!
Well "expetive deleted": Why don't you ask me at kehila tomorrow night? Or even at Minha/Arvit tonight.
Hey, watch the Joey Cora comments or "El Gallo" as he liked to be called. Here's some Jose (Joey) trivia - He used have this superstition that he wouldn't play well unless whenever he would run out to his position at second base, he would do a hop & twirl on one foot type of move. I miss A-Rod too for that matter. That's when Seattle was a good team.
