Just two more days! THe CIT's and counselors are at SAC right now getting the site ready for all of you Sephardic Adventure Campers. And this I guarantee, this will be the best SAC ever. We have over 90 campers this year!!!

staff update

Change in plans for June 20th. All staff will meet at Ezra Bessaroth from 3p.m. -6 p.m. for staff meetings. Please be on time. If you cannot make it please call Gail Ben-Meir.

Bus information

All C.I.T. campers, the bus will be leaving Ezra Bessaroth on June 21st. at 9:30 a.m.
All other campers, the bus will be leaving Ezra Bessaroth on June 24th. at 1:00 p.m.

Medical forms and Camp Fees.

If you have not gotten your medical and camp fees in as of today, you are LATE.

Old Camp Photo Discovered

We have just found an old photo of Hazzan Greenberg at Camp Bishop dating back to the mid 1980's. In the photo (Click on picture for full size image) Hazzan Greenberg can be seen peeking out the window of the old B-3 bunk. You will be pleased to know the cabins have since been fully renovated.

Camp Bishop Remembered

This is how I remember Camp Bishop. It has been at least twenty years since I Set foot on the site so I am sure my memory is sketchy (at best). The boys cabins lie on the top of a hill and the girls cabins were in a forested area. (Submitted by Michael Behar)

For all those who did not want the boys cabins moved to lower area, good news! The boys cabins will be on the hill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The problem has been solved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regarding handkerchiefs verses sleeves or tissues.

The handkerchiefs that we are asking for will be used in the arts and crafts dept. not use for the campers!
